Hanuman tearing open his chest: Islam & Sikhism
RIGHT....
I WANT TO KEEP THIS SHORT && SWEET....
I'VE OFTEN SEEN MANY COMMENTS ON YOU TUBE AND PRACTICALLY EVERYWHERE,
HINDUS BEING MOCKED FOR IMAGES OF HANUMAN, "THE MONKEY GOD" (demi-god)
TEARING HIS CHEST OPEN...&& INSIDE HIS CHEST, RAM & SITA ARE SHOWN, DWELLING IN HIS HEART...
...NOW OBVIOUSLY, COMMON SENSE DICTATES....HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE!? (not the purpose of this topic)...
A STORY / LEGEND TOLD FOR OVER 10,000 YEARS...
LEGEND GOES:
Quote:
This is described in the later parts of the Ramayana. After Lord Rama came back from his vanavasa of 14 years and winning over Lanka Naresh Ravana, he was coronated as Ayodhya Naresh - the King of Ayodhya. In the celebration, precious ornaments and gifts were distributed to everyone. Hanuman was also gifted a beautiful necklace of diamonds by Sita - the wife of Rama.
Hanuman took the necklace, carefully examined each and every diamond, pulled them apart, and threw them away. Most were surprised by his behavior.
When asked as to why he was throwing away the precious diamonds, he replied that he couldn't find Rama in any one of them. Thus, they carried no worth to him since anything in which there is no Rama is without worth.
When asked if Lord Rama was in Hanuman himself, he tore his chest apart to reveal his heart.
The on-lookers, now convinced of his genuine devotion, saw the image of both Rama and Sita appearing on his heart.

ISLAM:
THERE IS A LEGEND / STORY (HADITH) OF MUHAMMED HAVING HIS CHEST OPENED UP BY AN ANGEL..
MUHAMMED THEN FLY'S OFF TO HEAVEN WITH THE SAME ANGEL..MUHAMMED RETURNS TO EARTH ONCE HE COMEPLETES HIS MISSION...
TAKEN PLACE DURING 7th CENTURY, MUHAMMED'S LIFE TIME...:
Quote:
Narrated Anas (ra):
Abu Dhar (ra) used to say that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "While I was at Makkah, the roof of my house was opened and Jibril descended, opened my chest, and washed it with Zamzam water. Then he brought a golden tray full of wisdom and faith, and having poured its contents into my chest, he closed it. Then he took my hand and ascended with me to the heaven. When Jibril reached the nearest heaven, he said to the gatekeeper of the heaven, 'Open (the gate).' The gatekeeper asked, 'who is it?' Jibril answered, 'Jibril'. He asked, 'Is there anyone with you?' Jibril replied, 'Muhammad (ﷺ) is with me.' He asked, 'Has he been called?', Jibril said, 'Yes'. So, the gate was opened and we went over the nearest heaven, and there we saw a man sitting with Aswida (a large number of people) of his right and Aswida on his left. When he looked towards his right, he laughed and when he looked towards his left he wept. He said (to me), 'Welcome, O pious Prophet and pious son'. I said, 'Who is this man O Jibril?' Jibril replied, 'He is Adam, and the people on his right and left are the souls of his offspring. Those on the right are the people of Paradise, and those on the left are the people of the (Hell) Fire.
So, when he looks to the right, he laughs, and when he looks to the left he weeps.' Then Jibril ascended with me till he reached the second heaven and said to the gatekeeper, 'Open (the gate).' The gatekeeper said to him the same as the gatekeeper of the first heaven has said, and he opened the gate." Anas added: Abu Dhar mentioned that Prophet (ﷺ) met Idris, Musa (Moses), 'Isa (Jesus) and Ibrahim (Abraham) over the heavens, but he did not specify their places (i.e., on which heavens each of them was), but he mentioned that he (the Prophet (ﷺ)) had met Adam on the nearest heaven, and Ibrahim on the sixth. Anas said, "When Jibril and the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by Idris, the latter said, 'Welcome, O pious Prophet and pious brother!' the Prophet (ﷺ) asked, 'Who is he?' Jibril said, 'He is Idris.'
" The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "Then I passed by Musa who said, 'Welcome, O pious Prophet and pious brother!' I said, 'Who is he?' Jibril said, 'He is Musa.' Then I passed by 'Isa who said, 'Welcome, O pious Prophet and pious brother!' I said, 'Who is he?' He replied, 'He is 'Isa.' Then I passed by the Prophet (ﷺ) Ibrahim who said, 'Welcome, O pious Prophet and pious son!' I said, 'Who is he?' Jibril replied, 'He is Ibrahim'." Narrated Ibn 'Abbas and Abu Haiyya Al-Ansari: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Then Jibril ascended with me to a place where I heard the creaking of pens." Ibn Hazm and Anas bin Malik state the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah enjoined fifty Salat (prayers) on me. When I returned with this order of Allah, I passed by Musa who asked me, 'What has Allah enjoined on your followers?' I replied, 'He has enjoined fifty Salat (prayers) on them.' On the Musa said to me, 'Go back to your Lord (and appeal for reduction), for your followers will not be able to bear it.' So, I returned to my Lord and asked for some reduction, and He reduced it to half. When I passed by Musa again and informed him about it, he once more said to me, 'Go back to your Lord, for your followers will not be able to bear it.' So, I returned to my Lord similarly as before, and half of it was reduced. I again passed by Musa and he said to me, 'Go back to your Lord, for your followers will not be able to bear it.' I again returned to my Lord and He said, 'These are five (Salat-prayers) and they are all (equal to) fifty (in reward), for My Word does not change.' I returned to Musa, he again told me to return to my Lord (for further reduction) but I said to him 'I feel shy of asking my Lord now.' Then Jibril took me till we reached Sidrat-ul-Muntaha (i.e., lote tree of utmost boundary) which was shrouded in colors indescribable. Then I was admitted into Paradise where I found small tents (made) of pearls and its earth was musk (a kind of perfume)."

MOVING ON TO SIKHISM:
Baba Deep Singh Ji (1682–1757)
Quote:
is revered among Sikhs as one of the most hallowed martyrs in Sikhism and as a highly religious person. He is remembered for his sacrifice and devotion to the teachings of the Sikh Gurus. Baba Deep Singh was the first head of Misl Shaheedan Tarna Dal – an order of the Khalsa military established by Nawab Kapur Singh, the then head of Sharomani Panth Akali Buddha Dal.
The Damdami Taksal also state that he was the first head of their order. His name is also found as Deep Singh (without the "Baba" honorific) and Baba Deep Singh Ji.

NOW, SIKHISM IS ONLY 5/600 YEARS OLD...SO THIS MIRACLE IS NOT EXACTLY "OLD"...
LEGEND GOES, BABA DEEP SINGH FOUGHT WITH HIS HEAD CUT OFF ..YEH, SO HE WENT HE-MAN BERSERK MODE, WAVED HIS SWORD AROUND...KILLED A FEW BAD GUYS AND DID NOT DROP DEAD, DESPITE HOLDING ON TO HIS SEVERED HEAD IN BATTLE..
Quote:
There are two accounts of Baba Deep Singh's death. According to one popular version, Baba Deep Singh continued to fight after having been completely decapitated, slaying his enemies with his head in one hand and his sword in the other. In this version, only upon reaching the sacred city of Amritsar did he stop and finally die.[7] According to the second version, he was mortally wounded with a blow to the neck, but not completely decapitated. After receiving this blow, a Sikh reminded Baba Deep Singh, "You had resolved to reach the periphery of the pool." On hearing the talk of the Sikh, he held his head with his left hand and removing the enemies from his way with the strokes of his 15 kg[8] Khanda "with his right hand, reached the periphery of Harmandir Sahib where he breathed his last. The Singhs celebrated the Bandhi-Sor Divas of 1757 A.D. in Harmandir Sahib".
The Sikhs recovered their prestige by defeating the Afghan army and the latter were forced to flee.

SO THERE WE HAVE IT..
FACT OR FICTION, DOWN TO THE BELIEVER...
POINT BEING, MANY BELIEFS HAVE CERTAIN "STORIES" BEYOND EXPLANATION...STOP INSULTING EACH OTHER, NEITHER CAN PROVE OR DISAPPROVE THE ABOVE

True...
Virtues and characteristics of the water of Zamzam
“Some people said that the virtue (of Zamzam water) remains only so long as it is in its place (of origin), and that when it is taken away, it changes. This is an idea that has no basis. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) wrote to Suhayl ibn ‘Amr: “If my letter reaches you at night, do not wait until morning, and if it reaches you during the day, do not wait until evening, to send me some Zamzam water.” He sent him two containers full, and at that time he was in Madeenah, before the Conquest of Makkah. This hadeeth is hasan because of corroborating evidence. ‘Aa’ishah also used to take Zamzam water away with her, and she reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to do this; he used to carry it in small vessels and buckets, and pour it onto the sick and give it to them to drink. Whenever a guest visited Ibn ‘Abbaas he would honour him by giving him Zamzam to drink. ‘Ata’ was asked about taking Zamzam water away, and he said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), al-Hasan and al-Husayn all took it away with them.”

Baba Deep Singh Ji were a Gurm Jatt
Baba Deep Singh Ji were born in village Gurm near Dehlon, Ludhiana. Baba Ji's Father died in a Battle against the Pathans. So Baba Ji's Mother took him to her native Village Pahuwind. Ref. Jattan Dian 101 Gottan Da Itehas
Baba Deep Singh (1682-1757) is revered among Sikhs as one of the most hallowed martyrs in Sikhism and as a highly religious person. He is remembered for his sacrifice and devotion to the teachings of the Sikh Gurus. The term Baba is used to show respect to an elder in India.
Tradition has it that Deep Singh continued to fight after having been decapitated, slaying his enemies with his head in one hand and his Khanda (double-edged sword) in the other.
There are two traditions. One tradition states that Baba Deep Singh was decapitated and continued to fight. The other tradition is that he suffered a severe gash to his neck which made it appear as if he had been decapitated, but he continued to fight on. We need references for both accounts.

Good post..
What is Zamzam water?
According to Islamic tradition, the well of zamzam was discovered by Hajar, the second wife of Ibrahim (Abraham), and the mother of Ismail (pbut). It began when Hajar and infant Ismail were left in desert between the hills of Safa and Marwah all alone by Abraham. Allah (swt) commanded Abraham to leave them there to test his faith in Him. With the day getting hotter as time went by, Ismail became thirsty and he began to cry. Having brought nothing with her, Hajar panicked. She went back and forth between the hills of Safa and Marwah seven times looking for water. On the seventh trip, all of sudden water came out of the underground. The water kept flowing and Hajar said :”Zome zome”, meaning "stop flowing" and thus the water was named Zamzam.

All new to me
Interesting....
Few questions:
1) Is the first picture of a Monkey man or Monkey?
2) Why is one blue and the other normal?
3) How long was Muhammed in Heaven for?
4) Jibral is gabriel?
5) If the Sikh warrior thing happen 500 years ago, where are the records of the battle kept?
"That's none of your business."
