Two men have been subjected to a suspected acid attack in east London. The victims, believed to be in their late teens, had an "unknown liquid" thrown at them, police said.
Officers were flagged down on Roman Road in Bethnal Green at 7pm on Tuesday evening
A video of the incident posted on Twitter by Chris Lennon appears to show a topless man pouring water over his face and torso as paramedics tend to him.
Another man is seen sitting on the pavement, also receiving medical attention.
Photos show what is believed to be one of men's jackets, with holes melted through the fabric.
Scotland Yard said the incident was being treated as a "suspected noxious substance attack". No arrests have been made.
Paramedics were called and the men were taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not life-threatening.
