Greenland has fired back at US President Donald Trump’s renewed push to take control of the Arctic island, with a Greenlandic politician openly mocking what she called Trump’s flawed military calculations. Citing troop numbers, international allies, and public opinion inside Greenland, she warned that the island cannot be bought or bullied. The comments come as tensions rise between Washington, Europe, and NATO over Greenland’s sovereignty, with Denmark and France rejecting any takeover. As Trump insists the US must act for security reasons, Greenland says he is “bad at math” — and dangerously misreading the situation.
