The suspected gunman in the
Christchurch massacre is lucid and does not appear to be mentally unstable, the lawyer handling his case has said.
Brenton Tarrant “seemed to appreciate what he was facing and why he was there”, Richard Peters told the Australian TV network Channel Nine.
