‘Extraordinary achievement’: Indian spacecraft lands near moon's south pole

Astronomer-At-Large Fred Watson has discussed India’s extraordinary achievement to soft land near the moon’s south pole.

“They're only the fourth nation to soft-land a spacecraft on the surface of the moon, but the first nation to put a spacecraft down near the moon's south pole,” he told Sky News Australia.
