Completing the crucial manoeuvre, Chandrayaan 2 entered the lunar orbit. The Vikram lander will separate from the orbiter on September 2. The duration of manoeuver was 1738 seconds beginning 9:02 am. Now a series of maneuvers will enable Chandrayaan 2 to enter its final orbit passing over the lunar poles. The second moon mission will be completed successfully at 1:55am on September 7.
