Violent Somali gang with hammers attacked people in Ilhan Omar's district Friday night.
Friday night a gang of 10 - 12 Somali males with hammers attacked people in Minneapolis.
Minneapolis, MN - 5/17/19 Friday night, Andrew Williams posted on Minneapolis Scanner's Facebook page that 911 callers had reported that "10-12 Somali teen males armed with hammers" were on a rampage chasing and attacking people. Several calls were made to 911. Injuries were reported. It is unknown if any arrests have been made at this time. 2nd Precinct Minneapolis Crime Watch and Information also reported the incident on their page. Minneapolis is in Minnesota's 5th Congressional district which is represented by none other than the infamous Ilhan Omar.
Who could possibly defend themselves against a violent group that size? There are so many questions. What was their motive other than to harm or kill random innocent people? Was this an act of jihad, terror, gang violence, a hate crime or all of the above? Has anyone been arrested? Will Minneapolis Police release the identity of the attackers or are they minors? The public needs and deserves more information. If Minneapolis Scanner and 2nd Precinct Minneapolis Crime Watch and Information had not shared this information, would we have ever known? Most likely not.
