The Prophet`s guidance on treating the sick

I am Reading This Book titled :: Healing With The Medicines Of the Prophet (PBUH)...By Imam Ibn Qayyim Al-Jauziyah....just Wanted to share something i read....

The Prophet`s guidance on treating the sick by encouraging them and strengthing their resolve....

Ibn Majah Narrated That Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (Razi Allah Hu Anhu) said, The Messenger of Allah Sal Allah Hu Alai Hi Wasalam said

("When u visit a sick person, say good words to him, for the sake of Allah for althought that does not pervent any harm,it still brings relief to the patient`s heart." At-Tirmidhi Also Narrated the Hadith)

This Hadith Contains one of the most honorable remedies, that is, releieving the anxiety of the sick with some good wordsthat will enhance his resolve and strength.tn this case the inner energy will be elevated and would help the body against the disease, which is the best the doctor could wish for.

Releiveing the anxiety of the sick person and bringing relief to his heart has a surprisingly good effect in curing the body and lessening the effects of an ailment.it will also bring strength to the heart and the soul of teh sick person, further encouraging the body to fight the disease People have witnessed that the sick feel refreshed and energized in the company of those they like and respect...when they visit them.

We mentioned before that the Prophet(Sal Allah hu alai hi Wasalam) used to ask the sick people about what they complain from and how they felt. He would also ask them about what they had a taste for and would place his hand on their forehead,or even on the chest, asking Allah to bring them whatever benefits them in this condition.

Sometimes The Prophet Sal Allah hu Alai hi Wasalam would perform ablution(WUZU) and then pour the water he used on the sick person. Sometimes the Prophet (Sal Allah Hu Alai hi Wasalam) would say to the sick person :: Laaba-sa tahoorun, lnshaa Allah Meaning ::Have no fear ! If Allah wills, your sickness will purify you of your sins. (Sahih Bukhaari)

This indeed is the kindest way of treating the sick when visiting them

Jazakallah hu khairan .....assalam-o-alaikum warahmatullah hi wabarakatuhu...

A look from you is as blinding as the sun
As stunning as your eyes I lose myself in
A look from you is as pure as the clear blue sky
When I'm with you
Every minute I'm not around you
I feel like I left something behind.
Every time I'm not looking at you
I feel like I am blind

Fer Is Janam Das Ki Majboriyan Ne"
