Firstly, Joe Owens' opinion on the two conflicts is not really relevant in this, but I raise a more worrying point.

Two demonstrations regarding brutal conflicts are currently taking place in our troubled world today. The first march took place in Liverpool today (24.2.2024), protesting against Russia’s 🇷🇺 invasion of Ukraine 🇺🇦. The second march occurred in Liverpool two Sundays (11.2.2024) ago, opposing Israel’s 🇮🇱 invasion of Gaza. Now, what is the obvious difference between the two marches? The first march appears to lack the usual far-left support and new arrivals pouring into Liverpool, while the second march is filled with far-left supporters and a significant number of new arrivals who are not exclusively Palestinians. So, what does this tell us? It suggests that the far left is primarily interested in advocating for causes related to conflicts in the third world and opposing Western influences. It also indicates that new arrivals in our city are primarily concerned with issues that directly impact their own group and culture, rather than conflicts of others. Given that, one must look towards new arrivals culturally changing Liverpool as something we need to stop as they obviously will never have the good people of Liverpool at heart but their own children, grandchildren and a future that secures their security and not their Scouse host....
