Gyanvapi Case: Varanasi Court Allows Puja In Mosque Basement After Sensational ASI Report
A Varanasi court has allowed puja to be performed in the south cellar of the Gyanvapi mosque in Uttar Pradesh. Puja was reportedly stopped in the basement of the mosque in 1993, but the court has now directed the district administration to facilitate people to perform puja there within 7 days. The big court order comes after the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) in its report said that there was evidence of a pre-existing temple at the Gyanvapi mosque site.
