Israeli forces intensify attacks after communications cut inside Gaza

The Israel Defence Forces have said they struck 150 underground Hamas targets in Gaza overnight in the heaviest aerial bombardment of the war so far. Palestinian residents reported clashes with Israeli armoured vehicles and infantry. Video footage released by the IDF shows tanks inside the besieged enclave, firing towards built-up areas in the distance. Hours before the intensified bombardment, communications were almost completely shut down inside Gaza
