Sky News host James Macpherson has discussed the Scottish First Minister’s “crazy” call for Gaza refugees to be welcomed into the country.
“Scotland is ready to play her part,” Humza Yousaf said in a tweet.
“To be the first country in the UK to offer safety and sanctuary to the people of Gaza. To treat the injured men, women and children, where we can.”
The First Minister repeated the sentiment in parliament, calling on the international community to “commit to a world refugee program”.
Mr Macpherson pointed out it is a “curious thing” he is not calling on Arab nations to take in Palestinian refugees instead.
