The Ajay Devgn – Saif Ali Khan starrer Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior released a week back. Despite hitting screens alongside the Deepika Padukone starrer Chhapaak, the film that received positive response from the critics managed to hold its own at the box office.
n this box office report, we take a look at the opening week collections of Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior while comparing the same to previous releases. Collecting Rs. 118.91 cr, Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior has managed to become the eight highest opening week grosser of 2019-2020. In fact, Tanhaji that managed to cross the Rs. 100 cr mark within six days of its release has now surpassed the business of previous releases like Saaho that collected Rs. 116.03 cr and Kesari that collected Rs. 105.86 cr.
But if that wasn’t all, given the current trend, Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior that still enjoys the audience’s favour is expected to see good growth on its second weekend. Now all that remains to be seen is whether the film manages to make it past the Rs. 125 cr mark by the end of its second weekend.
