SRK starrer romantic drama movie Zero received mixed to negative reviews from the film critics along with poor ratings at the time of its release. The movie failed to receive good word of mouth, which also affects the box office collection of the film. The film received a slow opening at the box office as it failed to fulfil the sky-high expectation associated with the movie. The opened up with only Rs 20.14 crore which is less than expected. The film raked Rs 18.22 crore and Rs 20.71 crore on its second and third day which leads the total first-weekend box office collection to Rs 59.07 crore.
