Diljit Dosanjh-starrer movie "Punjab '95" landed in controversy ahead of its release. The movie directed by Honey Trehan has been removed from the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2023. The movie is based on the life of Punjab-based human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, who documented the disappearance of thousands in Punjab during the peak of the Khalistani movement. Khalra disappeared in 1995, and a decade later, six Punjab Police personnel were convicted for his murder. The movie has already run into trouble in India. Here's Why.
