Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior box office collection: Day 14
Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is inching towards Rs 200 crore-mark. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles.
Though Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is in its third week, it refuses to slow down at the box office. The film is set to cross the Rs 200 crore-mark. It was made on a budget of Rs 150 crore.
The Ajay Devgn and Kajol starrer is going steady at the box office. Even on weekdays, the film is minting good money. It made Rs 8.17 crore on Monday, Rs 7.72 crore on Tuesday, Rs 7.09 crore on Wednesday, bringing the total collection to Rs 190.43 crore. The film is expected to make Rs 7 crore on Thursday.
Tanhaji saw Ajay and Kajol come together on the big screen after a gap of 12 long years. The film saw Saif Ali Khan playing a negative role. He was particularly lauded for his performance in the film.
Ajay Devgn took to twitter to thank the Maharashtra government for making the film tax-free in the state. He wrote, "Thank you Uddhav Thackeray ji for declaring #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior tax-free in the state of Maharashtra. @OfficeofUT @CMOMaharashtra."
