From Beirut to Amman, from Turkey to Iran - crowds have taken to the streets, besieging western embassies, hurling stones and blaming Israel for the strike on the hospital in Gaza.

According to the Jordanian foreign minister - an already highly volatile region is now being "pushed to the brink".
