PAKISTAN has declared an “open war” against Afghanistan and vowed a “crushing response” as both countries launched overnight strikes.

Kabul was rocked by “deadly” Pakistani blitzes after the Taliban attacked border troops on Thursday following months of tit-for-tat clashes.
