California leaders blasted for response to Trump's use of the National Guard amid riots
Several California leaders have been blasted on social media for their response to U.S. President Trump's decision to send the National Guard.
On Saturday, President Trump deployed the National Guard to California as violent protests erupted in Los Angeles.
After the president announced he was sending the National Guard, Newsom posted again to X as he attempted to regain control of his city.
Users on social media were quick to slam the governor, as many claim Newsom is taking the side of the rioters rather than law enforcement.
“It doesn’t surprise me you prioritise illegals over citizens and soldiers. You’re a disgrace to this nation,” wrote one user.
