Kohli Trolled For Praising Anushka
Virat Kohli got trolled for praising the work of his wife Anushka Sharma in the recent Bollywood film 'Zero', also featuring Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
The cricketer who is currently in Australia to play Test series with the host team, took to Twitter to appreciate the work of his wife Anushka Sharma in 'Zero'. Kohli tweeted: "Saw Zero and loved the entertainment it brought. I enjoyed myself. Everyone played their parts well. Loved @AnushkaSharma performance because I felt it was a very challenging role and she was outstanding."
Given that the film gained some extremely bad ratings from critics, the netizens found fault with the tweet and began to troll him like never before. Most of them blamed him for praising a flop film. While some of them commented to it saying 'Biwi ka dar', few others said 'Anushka is using Kohli's account'. Also, he was bashed for tweeting ahead of second test match on 26th December.
Directed by the talented Anand L Rai, 'Zero' is a romantic drama starring Sharukh Khan as dwarf, Katrina Kaif as Bollywood actress and Anushka Sharma as NASA scientist suffering with cerebral palsy. The superstar of Hindi Film industry walked out of his star image and attempted an offbeat film, but it has disappointed his fans and viewers bigtime.
