One in eight Labour voters believe the English flag is "racist and divisive" and should not be displayed, according to a recent poll.
The research conducted by Lord Ashcroft Polls found widespread support for the St. George's Cross among the general public. Almost three-quarters of the people surveyed agreed that it is a symbol to represent England and no one should be offended by it.
