Comparative research: Did Sikhism save Hinduism & India???

I'VE NOTICED THESE RUMOURS FOR AGES..."SIKHISM SAVED HINDUISM?"

I'M NOT SURE WHETHER TO LAUGH OR.... THE SIKH FAITH IN GENERAL HAS MUCH TO OFFER THE WORLD AND IS AN ASSET TO INDIA...

..THESE LIES CIRCULATING ARE DONE BY BRAINLESS KHALISTANI LIARS AND MANY CLUELESS SIKHS...

I WILL TRY TO KEEP THINGS SIMPLE (feel free to share your thoughts)

TWO MAIN LIES TOLD:

1) SIKHS SAVED HINDUISM?

2) SIKHS KICKED THE BRITISH OUT OF INDIA???

FIRSTLY, THE SIKH EMPIRE WAS DESTROYED BY THE BRITISH....THE SIKHS STRUGGLED TO MAINTAIN THEIR OWN KINGDOM DUE TO INTERNAL CONFLICTS (not going into that on here).

HERE ARE SOME HARDCORE FACTS:

THE FIRST ISLAMIC INVASION OCCURED 640AD, NORTH INDIA - AFGHANISTAN - SINDH REGION.

HINDUS WERE BATTLING INVADING FORCES SINCE 640AD TO 711AD & CONTINUED TILL THE 18th CENTURY!

FEW EXAMPLES:

Bappa Rawal 725 CE
Quote:
Arab invaders defeated the former rulers of Chittor, and Bappa Rawal gained control of Chittor after repulsing the Arab invaders.1]
The text credits him with establishing the Mewar Kingdom in 728 CE, and with building the Eklingji temple.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bappa_Rawal

Quote:
Naikidevi was the widow of a Solanki king ( the dynasty is also referred to as the Chalukyas of Gujarat) King Ajayapala. Battle of Kayadara: 1178: Ghori Vs Naikidevi-Bhimdev II

The battle of Gujarat or Kayadara (1178) was a defeat suffered by Muhammad of Ghur during his first campaign against a Hindu ruler in India. Muhammad's first campaign had been against the Muslim rulers of Multan in 1175 and had ended in victory. In 1178 he turned south, and led his army from Multan to Uch and then across the desert towards the Gujarat capital of Anhilwara (modern Patan).

Gujaray was ruled by the young Raja Bhimdev II (ruled 1178-1241), a member of the Solanki dynasty (one of several Chalukya dynasties), although the age of the Raja meant that the army was commanded by his mother Naikidevi. Muhammad's army had suffered greatly during the march across the desert, and Naikidevi inflicted a major defeat on him at the village of Kayadra (near to Mount Abu, about forty miles to the north-east of Anhilwara). The invading army suffered heavy casualties during the battle, and also in the retreat back across the desert to Multan.

Muhammad of Ghur never returned to Gujarat. An army led by Qutb al-din Aibek, his deputy in India, invaded in c.1195-97 and plundered the capital, but then returned to Delhi. Gujarat wasn't annexed by the Sultanate of Delhi until 1297.

THEN WE HAVE THE LEGENDARY:

Quote:
Prithviraj Chauhan  (1178–1192 CE) against Mahmud Ghori
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prithviraj_Chauhan

WHEN RANI DURGAVATI FOUGHT, THREE VITAL SIKH GURUS WERE NOT EVEN BORN TO DEFEND INDIA...LET ALONE HINDUISM!

Quote:
Hindu Rani Durgavati (1542-1564) fought the Mughals
Queen of Gondwana from 1550 until 1564.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rani_Durgavati

6th Guru:
Quote:
Sikh Guru Hargobind born: 1595 - 1644)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guru_Hargobind

10th Guru:
Quote:
Sikh Guru Gobind Singh born: 1666 – 1708
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guru_Gobind_Singh

THE SIKH GURU WHO "SAVED HINDUISM" :

9th Guru:
Quote:
Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur born: 1621 – 1675
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guru_Tegh_Bahadur

...ALONG CAME THE GREAT HINDU SHIVA JI MAHARAJ:

Quote:
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj: 1st Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire
Reign; 1674–1680 CE Coronation: 6 June 1674

was an Indian warrior king and a member of the Bhonsle Maratha clan. Shivaji carved out an enclave from the declining Adilshahi sultanate of Bijapur that formed the genesis of the Maratha Empire. In 1674, he was formally crowned as the chhatrapati (emperor) of his realm at Raigad.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shivaji

CHHATRAPATI MAHARAJ DIED 5 YEARS AFTER THE DEATH OF SIKH GURU TEGH BAHADUR

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

HINDU CHHATRAPATI MAHARAJ'S EMPIRE WAS ALIVE AND KICKING BEFORE THE DEATH OF SIKH GURU TEGH BAHADUR

RIGHT MOVING ON.............

SIKHISM WAS CREATED BY GURU NANAK IN: 1500's

Quote:
Guru Nanak (1469 – 1539) was the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Sikh Gurus.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guru_Nanak

GURU NANAK WAS A PEACEFUL MAN WHO NEVER PICKED UP THE SWORD.

6th GURU HARGOBIND SINGH (1595-1644) MILITARISED THE SIKHS. DIED AT THE AGE OF 48!

Quote:
Was the sixth of ten Gurus of the Sikh religion. He had become Guru at the young age of eleven, after the execution of his father, Guru Arjan, by the Mughal emperor Jahangir.
Guru Hargobind introduced the process of militarization to Sikhism.

10th GURU GOBIND SINGH (1666 – 1708) CREATED THE SIKH KHALSA (UNIFIED WARRIOR CODE): 1699

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guru_Gobind_Singh

Quote:
The Khalsa tradition was initiated in 1699 by the last living Guru of Sikhism, Guru Gobind Singh. Its formation was a key event in the history of Sikhism. The founding of Khalsa is celebrated by Sikhs during the festival of Vaisakhi.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khalsa

IF THE SIKH KHALSA WAS CREATED IN 1699..

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

THE SIKHS WERE FIGHTING AS INDIVIDUAL REBELS FOR A PERIOD OF 30/50 YEARS OR SO BEFORE BEING CLUMPED INTO AN ARMY (Khalsa)

HINDUS WERE BATTLING ISLAMIC INVADING FORCES FOR OVER 300 YEARS PRIOR TO THE INVENTION OF THE SIKH FAITH WOW!

BRUTE FORCE ANALYSIS:

6th GURU HARGOBIND SINGH DIED: 1644
10th & FINAL GURU GOBIND SINGH DIED: 1708
Quote:
Because of the oppressions by Mughal Emperors, Guru Hargobind from the very start was a dedicated enemy of the Mughal rule. He advised Sikhs to arm and fight the Mughals.
He symbolically wore two swords, which represented miri and piri (temporal power and spiritual authority). He built a fort to defend Ramdaspur and created a formal court, Akal Takht.

Jahangir responded by jailing the 17 year old Guru Hargobind at Gwalior Fort in 1612, on the pretext that the fine imposed on Guru Arjun Dev had not been paid by the Sikhs and Guru Hargobind Sahib. It is not clear as to how much time he spent as a prisoner. The year of his release appears to have been either 1614 or 1615, when Guru Hargobind was about 19 years old. Persian records, such as Dabistan I Mazahib suggest he was kept in jail for twelve years, including over 1617-1619 in Gwalior, after which he and his camp were kept under Muslim army's surveillance by Jahangir.
GURU HARGOBIND SINGH BEGAN FIGHTING ROUGHLY IN: 1612

AT THIS POINT THERE WAS NO SIKH MILITARY / ARMY. THERE WAS NO STRUCTURE (as mentioned)..

FURTHER BREAKDOWN:

Quote:
Vasco da Gama was a Portuguese explorer and the first European to reach India by sea 20 May 1498.

Portuguese conquest of Goa (India) 1510.

The British came to India 1600's.

NOW, CEMENTING THE EXPOSED LIES FURTHER (Sikhs saved Hinduism?)

Quote:
Malik Ambar (1548 – 1626) was a Siddi military leader in the Deccan region of India
An Ethiopian slave known to history as 'Malik Ambar' was already seventeen years old in 1565, the year of the Battle of Talikota. Born in 1548, Chapu as a youth had fallen into the hands of slave dealers operating between the Ethiopian highlands and the coasts of eastern Africa. Clearly, Indian textiles were reaching the Ethiopian highlands in exchange for Ethiopian exports, which included gold and ivory in addition to slaves. Although military slavery is often identified as an 'Islamic' institution, it never occurred throughout the Muslim world. Habshi ex-slaves generally allied themselves both culturally and politically with the Deccani class. The emergence of a distinct Deccani regional identity, already visible in the mid-fourteenth century as both cause and consequence of the Bahmanis' successful revolution against north Indian Tughluq rule, gained force in the sixteenth century. It was during the tumultuous period 1595-1600 that the Ethiopian slave born as 'Chapu', and later renowned as 'Malik Ambar', rose to prominence.

WHY IS THIS MAN IMPORTANT?

MALIK AMBAR WAS NOT A SIKH.

Quote:
The Battle of Bhatvadi (also Bhatavadi or Bhatwadi) was fought in 1624, near modern Bhatodi Pargaon village in Maharashtra, India. The Ahmadnagar army led by Malik Ambar defeated a combined Mughal-Bijapur force led by the Bijapuri general Mullah Muhammad Lari.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Bhatvadi

Quote:
The battle was important enough to be recorded by the European traveler Pietro Della Valle, who heard about it in Goa on 31 October 1624. Malik Ambar died in 1626, and Ahmadnagar fell to its enemies a decade later, in 1636. In the subsequent decades, Shivaji - a son of Malik Ambar's subordinate Shahaji - established a kingdom that covered much of former Ahmadnagar territory, and that ultimately evolved into the Maratha Empire. The Maratha records portray the battle of Bhatvadi as an important turning point in the history of the region, and as an auspicious omen indicating the rise of the Marathas.

THE SIDDHIS AND THE MARATHAS FOUGHT SIDE BY SIDE, REJECTING THE MUGHALS IN 1624

..& I REPEAT:

10th GURU GOBIND SINGH (1666 – 1708) CREATED THE SIKH KHALSA (UNIFIED WARRIOR CODE ARMY): 1699

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guru_Gobind_Singh

DATES TO BE NOTED: 1624 & 1699 |

THE HINDU ARMIES WERE ALREADY ON THE RISE

RE-CAP:

Quote:
Guru Arjan was arrested under the orders of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir and asked to convert to Islam. He refused, was tortured and executed in 1606 CE

Quote:
In 1839, Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Punjab died and His Empire was plunged into chaos. Less than a decade later, weakened by internecine rivalry, Punjab fell into the hands of the British. The ruler who signed away the kingdom and it's treasures, including the famed Koh-i-noor diamond, was the eleven year old Duleep Singh, the youngest of Ranjit Singh's acknowledged sons. Soon after the British annexed his kingdom, Duleep was separated from his mother and his people, taken under British guardianship and converted to christianity. At 16 he was transported to England to live the life of a country squire - an exile that he had been schooled to seek himself. But disillusionment with the treatment meted out to him, and a late realization of his lost legacy turned Duleep into a rebel. He became a Sikh again and sought to return to his people. The attempt would drag him into the murky politics of 19th century Europe, leaving him depleted and vulnerable to every kind of deceit and ridicule. His end came in a cheap hotel room in Paris, but not before one last act of betrayal and humiliation !

DURING THE 1857 MUTINY, MANY SIKHS BETRAYED THE INDIAN UPRISING:

Quote:
The Indian Rebellion of 1857 by Hindus!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_Rebellion_of_1857

Quote:
Why were the Sikhs loyal to the british 1857 Mutiny?
http://historum.com/asian-history/41...57-mutiny.html

...AS YOU CAN SEE. SIKHS WERE NOT THE "SOLE" SAVIORS OF INDIA OR HINDUISM

DURING THE 1857 MUTINY, MANY KINGS QUEENS FOUGHT TO GUARD INDIA FROM THE BRITISH:
Quote:
Lakshmibai, the Rani of Jhansi ( 1828 – 1858), was the queen of the princely state of Jhansi in North India currently present in Jhansi district in Uttar Pradesh, India. She was one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857 and became a symbol of resistance to the British Raj for Indian nationalists.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rani_of_Jhansi

THE FIGHT FOR INDIA'S INDEPENDENCE FREEDOM:

SUBHASH CHANDRA BHOSE WAS THE MAN RESPONSIBLE FOR SCARING THE BRITISH OUT OF INDIA..

CHANDRA BHOSE CREATED THE AZAD HIND FAUJ (ARMY) TO REBEL AGAINST THE BRITISH...THIS IS WHY THE BRITISH LEFT OVER NIGHT.

Quote:
Subhas Chandra Bose (23 January 1897 – 18 August 1945) was an Indian nationalist whose defiant patriotism made him a hero in India, but whose attempt during World War II to rid India of British rule with the help of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subhas_Chandra_Bose

Quote:
The Provisional Government of Free India, or, more simply, Free India (Azad Hind), was an Indian provisional government established in occupied Singapore in 1943 and supported by the Empire of Japan, Nazi Germany, Italian Social Republic, and their allies.

It was a part of a political movement originating in the 1940s outside India with the purpose of allying with the Axis powers to free India from British Rule. It was established by Indian nationalists-in-exile during the latter part of the Second World War in Singapore with monetary, military and political assistance from Imperial Japan.[4] Founded on 21 October 1943, the government was inspired by the concepts of Subhas Chandra Bose who was also the leader of the government and the Head of State of this Provisional Indian Government-in-exile. The government proclaimed authority over Indian civilian and military personnel in Southeast Asian British colonial territory and prospective authority over Indian territory to fall to the Japanese forces and the Indian National Army during the Japanese thrust towards India during the Second World War. The government of Azad Hind had its own currency, court and civil code, and in the eyes of some Indians its existence gave a greater legitimacy to the independence struggle against the British.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azad_Hind

I HAVE TRIED TO KEEP THIS POST SIMPLE AND EASY TO FOLLOW...OBVIOUSLY THERE ARE MANY OTHER GREAT KINGS/QUEENS AND PERSONAS WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TOWARDS INDIA’s STRUGGLE...THEY HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN!

Few names to add...Indian rebellion

Mangal Pandey (19 July 1827 – 8 April 1857) was an Indian soldier who played a key part in events immediately preceding the outbreak of the Indian rebellion of 1857. He was a sepoy (sipahi) in the 34th Bengal Native Infantry (BNI) regiment of the British East India Company. While contemporary British opinion denounced him as a traitor and mutineer, Pandey is a hero in modern India. In 1984, the Indian government issued a postage stamp to remember him. His life and actions have also been portrayed in several cinematic productions. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mangal_Pandey

Chandrasekhar;[3] 23 July 1906 – 27 February 1931), popularly known as by his self-taken name Azad ("The Free"), was an Indian revolutionary who reorganised the Hindustan Republican Association under its new name of Hindustan Socialist Republican Army (HSRA) after the death of its founder, Ram Prasad Bismil, and three other prominent party leaders, Roshan Singh, Rajendra Nath Lahiri and Ashfaqulla Khan. He often used the pseudonym "Balraj" when signing pamphlets issued as the commander in chief of the HSRA (Hindustan Socialist Republic Army). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chandra_Shekhar_Azad

Gopal Krishna Gokhale CIE About this soundpronunciation (help·info) (9 May 1866 – 19 February 1915)] was an Indian political leader and a social reformer during the Indian Independence Movement. Gokhale was a senior leader of the Indian National Congress and founder of the Servants of India Society in 1905. Through the Society as well as the Congress and other legislative bodies he served in, Gokhale campaigned for Indian self-rule and also social reform. He was the leader of the moderate faction of the Congress party that advocated reforms by working with existing government institutions.

Maharaja Udai Singh II, founder of Udaipur. He fought against Akbar.

thank you for resending this out to me x

heres who i like

Rani Avantibai (1858) Lodhi-Warrior Queen!
Avantibai vowed to fight the British Raj to regain her land.1858

'Avantibai Lodhi' was the queen of 'King Vikramaditya Singh' of Ramgarh. When 'Vikramaditya Singh' became incapable of handling the affairs of the State due to ill health,[4] the British declared him as unfit to be a ruler. They also did not accept her sons Aman Singh and Sher Singh as heirs to the throne as they were minors. Avantibai Lodhi rose to the occasion and took charge of the administration, but was not recognized as the legitimate ruler by the British.

In 1851, the British declared Ramgarh as 'Court of Wards' and appointed their own administrator. She threw the administrator out and declared war against the British.[5] Avantibai Lodhi sent messengers to the rulers of neighboring kingdoms to join her in the war, rousing a wave of revolution in the central provinces. By 1857, the entire northern region joined the armed rebellion

..THESE LIES CIRCULATING ARE DONE BY BRAINLESS KHALISTANI LIARS AND MANY CLUELESS SIKHS...

I HAVE TRIED TO KEEP THIS POST SIMPLE AND EASY TO FOLLOW...OBVIOUSLY THERE ARE MANY OTHER GREAT KINGS/QUEENS AND PERSONAS WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TOWARDS INDIA’s STRUGGLE...THEY HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN!

Gokhale sought the advice of Annie Besant despite being a congress supporter? Besant herself made it clear that without Hinduism there is no India.

Quote:
Gokhale was deeply concerned with the future of Congress after the split in Surat. He thought it necessary to unite the rival groups, and in this connection he sought the advice of Annie Besant. On his deathbed he reportedly expressed his wish to his friend Sethur to see the Congress united.Alas! That was not to be. He died on 19 February 1915. Though Gokhale and Tilak differed in their ideologies for attaining freedom, they had great respect for each other's patriotism, intelligence, work and sacrifice. When Gokhale died, Tilak wrote an editorial in Kesari and paid a glowing tribute to Gokhale.
