Halal is not an issue for Hindus, preferential choice, really..There's no strict guideline which forbids a Hindu from eating halal

VARHARA AVATAR IS ASSOCIATED WITH PIGS / BOARS..
MATSYA AVATAR IS ASSOCIATED WITH FISHES /AQUA LIFE FORMS...
BIRDS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH GARUDA (eagle) AND SKANDA (Kartikeya) WITH PEACOCKS, ROOSTERS /CHICKENS...
