How Sikh devotees fled with holy book amid firing at Kabul Gurdwara; Two dead in attack
A video of Sikhs running from Gurdwara Karte Parwan in Kabul, with a holy book over their head is now going viral. This after Islamic State terrorists launched a full-scale attack on the Gurdwara today morning. A Sikh devotee and security guard were among the casualties in the attack. Multiple blasts took place the the gate of the Gurdwara as terrorists opened indiscriminate fire inside. BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa told news agency ANI that three people have managed to come out of the Gurdwara, two of whom have been taken to the hospital. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar condemned the attack and tweeted, "The cowardly attack on Gurdwara Karte Parwan should be condemned in the strongest terms by all. We have been closely monitoring developments since the news of the attack was received. Our first and foremost concern is for the welfare of the community."
