India reports a spike of 6,535 fresh COVID-19 cases and 146 deaths in the last 24 hours. This has now taken the total number of cases to 1,45,380 which include over 80,000 active cases. India has also clocked a recovery of 60,490 people so far but the death toll stands at 4,167. India also became the 10th country in the world to be the worst affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. Also looking at only the active cases in India, it is the fifth-worst affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
