West Bengal: 7-year-old student attacked by teacher for chanting ‘Jai Shree Ram’, asked not to chant in school or outside
The father of the victim said that his son raised slogans only after other students had raised 'Jai Shri Ram' slogan in the school. He also alleged that his school teacher warned him not to raise the slogan in school or outside.
There seems to be no end to violence in West Bengal over the issue of ‘Jai Shree Ram’. In a shocking incident, a class-I student has been allegedly brutally thrashed by his school teacher for chanting ‘Jai Shree Ram’.
Reportedly, the incident took place in Sri Ramakrishna Sikshalaya in West Bengal’s Howrah district on Wednesday. As per reports, the teacher beat up the 7-year old child, Aaryan Singh for chanting ‘Jai Shree Ram’ in the school premises. Following the incident, the teacher has gone absconding.
The father of the victim said that his son raised slogans only after other students had raised the slogan in the school. The father of the victim said that it was only his son who was brutally beaten up by the teacher.
