Narrated Abu Mas’ud Al-Ansari (
): The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
“When a Muslim spends something on his family intending (to receive Allah’s reward) it is regarded as charity for him.”

عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ فَقُلْتُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ فَقَالَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَنْفَقَ الْمُسْلِمُ نَفَقَةً عَلَى أَهْلِهِ وَهُوَ يَحْتَسِبُهَا كَانَتْ لَهُ صَدَقَةً
A look from you is as blinding as the sun
As stunning as your eyes I lose myself in
A look from you is as pure as the clear blue sky
When I'm with you
Every minute I'm not around you
I feel like I left something behind.
Every time I'm not looking at you
I feel like I am blind
