In a recent development in Kashmir, authorities have detained another doctor identified as Dr. Tajamul, a resident of Kulgam district. He was previously employed at SMHS Hospital in Srinagar but reportedly left his position approximately three years ago. Sources indicate that Dr. Tajamul is a close friend of Dr. Umar, who had assisted him in purchasing a vehicle. Srinagar police are currently investigating a potential "car module" angle in connection with the case. The detention was carried out by the Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) team, prompted by Dr. Tajamul’s recent acquisition of 2–3 private vehicles, which raised suspicions and led to his questioning.
