GWU Gaza war protest turns violent, officers hit, protestors pepper sprayed

Several arrest made at George Washington University Wednesday morning after an escalated clash between #police and Gaza war protestors. You can see officers hit by protestors, and the officers retaliating by pushing the protesters back with bikes and using pepper spray to clear the crowds.

We've been seeing protests nationwide over the last weeks between pro-Israel and pro-Palestine protestors. Colleges leading the way in these protests have been UCLA, NYU, Columbia, USC, Northwestern, U of Chicago and many others.

This as the #Israel-Hamas war rages on, Israel beginning ground invasions on the Rafah side of #Gaza, while Hamas retaliates with airstrikes.
