Gorakhpur woman attempts to deliver baby watching YouTube, both die
A 26-year-old woman lost her life while attempting to self-deliver a child while watching a video on YouTube.
The experiment went wrong and both the mother and the newborn died in the process, the police were quoted in Hindustan Times.
The bodies were found by the landlord when he broke open the door. The police were informed and the bodies were sent for post-mortem.
Details on her phone revealed that she was watching videos like 'how to deliver baby by self' on YouTube before her death.
A pair of scissors, blade and some thread were found in the room, the police said.
Parents of the woman denied filing FIR against anybody.
