There have been many cases in India which strictly demanded government’s attention towards the poor medical condition in the country. From power cuts in the hospital to being overcharged by the private bodies, there are many situations which uproar the situation of bad medical services in India.
Now, another case is going viral where a baby ended up losing his life for a person who was trying to prove that the infant is a baby girl. The doctor, named in Indian media as Anuj Kumar removed baby’s genitals to prove he was right when he said it’s a baby girl.
After MS Devi went into labour, she was taken to Dr Kumar’s nursing home who carried out the C section of the woman. The woman delivered baby boy but the doctor said that she has delivered a baby girl with certain deformities and will die soon after the birth.
Before the delivery, the doctor had told the couple that she would deliver a baby girl and in order to prove his prediction, he chopped off the genitals of the baby.
The baby died few minutes after the genitals were chopped off. This incident happened on the 24th of April in Jharkhand’s nursing home. An FIR is registered against the man and further investigation has been going on.
