First Ashra of Ramadan: First ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan are the days of Mercy. We should seek ALLAH's mercy in these days.

Second Ashra of Ramadan: The second ten days of Ramadan are the days of Forgiveness, Seek ALLAH's forgiveness and repent for all sins.

Third Ashra of Ramadan: The last 10 days of Ramadan are to seek Refuge in Allah from the Hellfire.

Night of Power: The night on which the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Prophet, known as the Night of Power (Lailat ul-Qadar), is generally taken to be the 27th night of the month. The Quran states that this night is better than a thousand months. Therefore many Muslims spend the entire night in prayer.

thanks for sharing

dear sister

The blessed month of Ramadan has been divided in 3 parts or Ashra: The Days of Mercy, The Days of Forgiveness and the Days of Emancipation from Hell-fire.
We should all benefit fully from Ramadan by reciting these dua's as much as we can for each ashra.

1st Ashra dua' (Days 1-10 of Mercy)
Ya Hayy U Ya Qayyum Birahmatika Astagheeth
Translation: O the Living, O the Eternal, I seek help in Your mercy."

2nd Ashra dua' (Days 11-20 of Forgiveness)
Astaghfirullaha Rabbi Min Kulli Zambin Wa Atoobu Ilaih
Translation: "I ask forgiveness of my sins from Allah who is my Lord and I turn towards Him."

3rd Ashra dua' (Days 21-30 of Freedom from Hell-fire)
Allahumma Ajirni Minan Nar
Translation: 'O Allah! Save me from the fire."
