Narrated Abu Huraira (رضى الله عنه): The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:
The parable of a believer is that of a crop which is tossed by the air from one side to another; in the same way a believer always (receives some) misfortune. The parable of a hypocrite is that of a cypress tree which does not move until it is uprooted.
[Sahih Muslim, Book 039, Number 6742]
