oh my days, guys I would highly highly highly recommend you all sit itikaaf, it was amaaaaazing Alhumdulillah.
I read my sabak to the point where whenever I closed my eyes all I could see were the words from the Qur'an paak, words just cannot describe how fantastic it was.
The isolation wasn't even so hard, esp for me, I like to talk, I only did it for 4 days, but wish I had done it for 10.
Anyone who has the opportunity next year or any year so sit itikaaf, do it, don't think twice. Insha'Allah you won't regret it. Gives you so much time to focus on yourself and your deen and to get your priorities straight.
