Does wearing a turban make you spiritual?

Why do women from different cultures and religions cover their hair?

In the African culture, women cover their hair fully using a head wrap.

Sikhs wear turbans.

All these things apparently bring you coser to GOD.

My question is why are monks bald and spirtually at peace ?

I wouldn't listen to these fools who bang on about hair coverings.
Having said that, each to their own.

the reality is quite simple your body needs vitamin C to create a protein known as collagen — an important part of hair structure. Vitamin C also helps your body absorb iron, a mineral necessary for hair growth.
If you spend all day walking around with your head covered how will your hair receive constant vitamins?
Some of these so called spiritual gurus don't know squat.

In Ancient India many gurus kept long hair uncovered.

There is some evidence that having a vitamin D deficiency does cause hair loss and other hair problems. Vitamin D stimulates hair follicles to grow, and so when the body does not have enough, the hair may be affected.

If your hair has prolonged exposure to the sun, UVA and UVB rays can damage the outside cover of the hair strand, called the cuticle. Signs of sun damage to your hair include discoloration, dry and brittle strands, broken or split ends, thinning and frizziness.

Oil moisturises the hair, adds nutrients, and stimulates the scalp.

And Buddhist do believe in God..Buddhist dhammapada mentions God.
