The caller needs to understand that what is understandable need not be justified. The bhakts' actions are understandable but unjustified. As adults we have to behave responsibly. What bhakts did also falls under free speech however the response was disproportionate, vile and disgusting. Comparing the bhakts' response with Armin's post is like comparing cursing someone with beating someone up. Both are rude but one is clearly worse than the other. Armin has never demanded for the bhakts' voice to be silenced. He's just highlighting their vile and disgusting behavior to the entire world.

@rayan Do you even know what hentai are?<< Add anime p0rn to he list...Is it healthy? So it happens everywhere, is it healthy? No..Its basically children who have not grown up indulging in some comic book fan-tsy sx ....Many of these people live double lives..Even "blow up dolls" are popular LoL, is it healthy? No...So on the one hand you are forni cating, lus ting over imaginative sketches (that is acceptable) LoL but same time, mocking those who follow a certain path who also sketch their version of "reality /spirituality"

@rayan they could have simply blocked him. A <<So they could have blocked him? But when he received abuse, he decided not to block them but play victim hood?? LoL...Why didn't he block them too? Why didn't he ignore them? If someone is giving you abuse, the smartest thing to do is block them. It was not a random comment, he did it on purpose to create a reaction.

@Neha Kulkarni he wanted to expose the ugly face of Hindutva and he was successful in his efforts. He could have blocked them but he wanted to bring attention to the issue of Hindutva extremism in India. I don't see the problem with fornication. As long as it isn't harming anyone, it should be alright. Nevertheless that's a different topic. Also it is natural to find that cartoon of Kali sexy. People may not say it but every guy finds that cartoon sexy. He just said it openly. My initial comparison with hentai was flawed because Kali in that cartoon looks like a real beautiful Indian woman (in terms of facial features and looks). It is natural to find that cartoon sexy. Every guy, even the Hindutva trolls find it sexy. They just don't say it and take offense for it. If we are talking about being perverted and vile, photoshopping photos of a dying woman with family members and children mourning over death on porn photos and calling it a gangbang is far worse. I'm surprised you find Armin to be perverted for being honest about a photo and ignore the absolutely disgusting behavior of Hindutva trolls. Do you know that the names of rape victims trend on pornhub India when a rape case gets media attention? What do you think this incident really exposed? The bigoted face of a few Hindutva trolls or Armin?

@rayan he wanted to expose the ugly face of Hindutva <Really? Then why have Hindus globally found his method disgusting? Not only Hindus many others? Do they all belong to Hindutva? No...You basically have no understanding of Hindutva

@rayan Sunshine, his dead mother is not my concern..His dead mother means nothing to me..Who is she? Does she influence my life? No. I couldn't careless what someone did...Is it right? No. That is not my problem. He bought that upon himself. Every action has a reaction.

@rayan We can ask many insensitive question towards him too...For example, How did his mother die? Stage 2 or 3 in cancer? Was she a cripple? Did she choke to death bleeding? Did she rot in her bed? Did Armin bury or cremate his dead mother? Did I abuse his mother? No. Its very easy to ask insensitive questions under the mode of free speech.

@rayan Do you know that the names of rape victims trend on pornhub Indi <<A very st upid and pathetic analogy...P0 rn sit es and things like this exists world wide...Plenty of sites based in USA, Europe have beastly and all kinds of vile material..Do those people follow religion? No. So why are you focusing on In dia with your ignorance?
[quote @Neha Kulkarni yes you can ask insensitive questions. It comes under free speech. You're triggered that he called your Goddess sexy and then exposed the Hindutva brigade. You wouldn't be so angry if he had called some random Indian actress sexy. You're not angry that he called a cartoon sexy. You're angry that it was your Goddess. If you were, you'd at least express some disgust at the actions of the trolls instead of calling it action-reaction. You agree with the Hindutva ideology so you don't care. Armin is showing the reality of Hindutva extremists to the world so you're angry. Also I have addressed most of the points raised. I don't want to discuss anime culture and stuff with you. It is not hypocrisy to not want to discuss every single issue. That would be going off topic (which we were initially discussing). It's hypocrisy to call the actions of Hindutva brigade targeting Armin action-reaction while calling Armin a pervert. To call an obviously sexy cartoon sexy is not being vile or perverted, it's being honest.
